Eric Cazdyn is a cultural theorist and filmmaker, and holds the position of Distinguished Professor in Aesthetics and Politics at the University of Toronto. He is author of The Already Dead (Duke 2012) and The Flash of Capital (Duke 2002), among many other publications. As a filmmaker, in recent years he has developed a growing body of widely screened work using a custom-built multi-camera system he labelled the ‘Blindspot Machine.’
